Put it all together

The final act of the prototype phase is to assemble the parts and test the entire design against the specifications. Often this results in a short run of 3 to 9 sets of parts that are used in limited trials to gather feedback from real users.

In the photo above the technician is assembling the Reliant Fraxel laser system for clinical trials. The covers for these prototypes are urethane castings with a sheet metal internal chassis.
