The Trimble Navigation Jupiter 5v product was designed to provide vehicle fleet operators with precision Global Positioning System data for up to the minute vehicle location and status information.  This compact unit mounted onto the truck or taxi's roof and was engineered to take the extremes of weather and physical abuse.  Inside the injection molded casework were GPS antennas that would monitor the vehicle position to enhance operational efficiency and increase fleet asset safety..
