Sunray Lighting

The SunRay Light G2 is a hydrargyrum medium-arc iodide, or HMI light that is used in the movie, theater and studio markets.The management at SunRay had previous aerospace experience and they brought production techniques from aerospace to the lighting market. One area was to make the front bezel like a nacelle of a jet engine, reducing the weight and increasing the strength. We added easy-to-use grab bars on the sides, bottom and back to help move the light into position during a change in shots.
